Blake Fraser is an award-winning Australian screenwriter, director, and storyboard artist based in Sydney. Growing up in a filmmaking family, he developed an early passion for drawing and the arts, leading him to attend the prestigious National Art School (NAS) from 2000 to 2002. There, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

After graduating, Fraser worked professionally as a storyboard artist while also studying acting and participating in theatre and television productions across Australia and New Zealand.

In 2011, he attended the Australian Film Television and Radio School to study directing. His graduating film, "Recon 6," was shortlisted for the Berlinale in 2012 and screened at Fantastic Fest. He followed this with the coming-of-age short "Big City Lights," which played at the St Kilda Film Festival in 2013.

Fraser has directed advertisements, award-winning music videos, and comedy sketches for the live comedy show Bonus Stage with some of Australia’s finest comedy talent. His first foray into short-form drama as a writer and director, "Patricia Moore," was invited to MIPTV Cannes as a finalist for the digital short-form series pitch in 2017 and was commissioned by the French streaming service Blackpills for release in 2018.

The series has since been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide, including Tribeca TV, Series Mania France, and Series Fest Denver. It has garnered numerous awards, notably Best Australian Drama at Melbourne Web Fest, Best Dramatic Series at Rio Web Fest, Best Thriller at Minnesota Web Fest, and Best Horror at Ozark Mountain Web Fest.

The series has now been made into a long-form French-speaking series titled ‘La Famille Rose’ that will premiere at Series Mania, France, in October 2025.

Fraser continues to make significant contributions to the Australian film and television industry through his diverse body of work.
